Microsoft took to the Gamescom stage today with several Halo 5: Guardians reveals, including a new map and an upcoming tournament with a large prize pool.
The new map, Coliseum, features varying sight lines, with close quarters and long distances alike. The 4v4 capture-the-flag game shown during the presentation also showcased different elevations throughout the map, with players using jetpacks and ground pounds to maneuver through the environment.
Microsoft also announced Halo World Championship, a tournament with a prize pool of $1 million. The exact dates have yet to be announced, but Microsoft is calling it the "biggest investment in Xbox eSports history."
